1. Anti-Ragging Committee:

Ragging means……..any conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness, indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or raises fear or apprehension or asking the students to do any act or perform something that has effect of causing shame, embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of a fresher or junior student.

Instructions to students of New City Hospital Education Trust

  • RAGGING IS BANNED IN THE COLLEGE CAMPUS
  • Students will abide by the rules laid down by the anti-ragging committee and cooperate wholeheartedly
  • Any student found violating the rules or indulging directly/indirectly in any act of ragging will be severely punished
  • Student involved in any act of ragging will accept the punishment as decided by the committee without prior intimation whatsoever
  • Depending upon the severity of the offence, punishment will be decided at the Institution level as established and mentioned below
    • Cancellation of admission
    • Suspension from attending classes and hostel
    • Debarring from appearing in examination
    • Expulsion from the Institution and debarring admission to any other colleges
    • If it is a group act or the culprit is not identified, then the committee will restore to punish the entire group.

2. SNA :

The Student Nurses’ Association ( SNA) of New City School and College of Nursing provides best opportunity for the student nurses to grow in their profession through many curricular and co – curricular programs. The SNA helps to develop initiatives and leadership quality within the students.
